  • One of Macy's favorite things to write about is delicious dishes.

Experience

Macy has been a passionate storyteller for more than a decade, having focused on creative writing most of her life. You'll see how she writes her pieces with so much vigor, pulling you into her own world. She has almost a decade's worth of theatre experience working at a theatre company in the Philippines, where she was an all-around creative, writing monologues and podcasts, stage managing, and even helping with costume design. In the early stages of her career, she worked for a magazine as an editor, where she interviewed and wrote about popular celebrities, influencers, and CEOs. She eventually fell into a content writing rabbit hole and realized how much she also enjoys diving into different topics, which made her into the well-rounded writer she is now. Not long after, her career took off as she started writing feature pieces, food reviews, travel guides, and lifestyle. She's still young and has a lot left to discover, but she's always curious, resilient, and eager. She has always been obsessed with challenges, so she likes to create writing dares for herself (e.g., writing one poem daily for an entire year and finishing a 50,000-word novel in a month). She wrote a short film titled 'Small' that was produced in 2020 for a theatre company in the Philippines.

Education

Macy has a degree in production design from De La Salle College of St. Benilde, a prominent art school in the Philippines, before realizing her favorite form of storytelling is writing rather than set design.
